In a recent academic publication, a joint Brazilian-American research team has confirmed the accuracy of the eXceed 3D models. The team looked at 6 different measurements, performed on 20 models, digitized in two different methods. Differences between the two methods were compared and eventually found to be statistically insignificant. The Researchers concluded that results from both methods were reliable and reproducible.
